My name is Kelly and I currently live on the Big Island of Hawai’i. I’ve always loved taking care of babies and children ever since I was a little girl. I nannied for a long time in my 20’s and as my love for babies and children grew, I decided to become a doula in May 2021. It was such a soul-opening experience for me that only made me want to further my knowledge. So, the next step for me was to join The Matrona: Hollistic Birthkeepers Midwifery Education program. It really empowered me to connect to my womb so that I could birth in power one day and help other women do the same. Well, that one day came August 28th at 2:28 pm when I free birthed my baby girl Ua here in my little home in Hawai’i. It was a very empowering experience and a joyful one at that.
