Leah Mele-Bazaz is the author of Laila: Held for a Moment: A Memoir. Leah graduated from Drexel University with an M.F.A in Creative Writing, where she works as an English adjunct faculty member at Drexel. She volunteers for Return to Zero H.O.P.E and teaches writing classes for bereaved families.
